Hyundai Electronics, a renowned
consumer electronics brand all over the world, started its operations in India
in September 2004 with the launch of premium category Flat TVs & since then
in a short span of six months, Hyundai Electronics has been
able to achieve a turnover of Rs. 100 crore . In this fiscal
(2007 - 2008) , Hyundai Electronics hopes to achieve a turnover of Rs.
450 crore .

& Tower) & DVDs. Hyundai Electronics is further planning to introduce new models in
Flat TV segment, Plasma TV & LCDs, Refrigerators, Microwaves etc. The
Product range is targeted at High net worth Individuals. .

Hyundai Electronics is planning to introduce a slew of products to garner a
bigger market share. To begin with, Hyundai Electronics is launching high-end Plasma TV,
LCDs, 5.1 Channel DVD, new models of Split ACs & Slim TV
priced at Rs. 16,000/-. Thereafter, new models of TVs in 22' & 29" would be
introduced.

At present Hyundai Electronics is present in approximately 250 cities, the
goal is to reach 350 cities by the year-end.

Hyundai Electronics is aiming at expanding the dealer distributor base to
2500 from the present 1500 spread all over India.

Hyundai Electronics hopes to notch up a market share of 5% in the Rs.
4000 crore Flat TV segment, 5% in the R. 2000 crore Air Conditioner category
& 10% in the 1.5 million units DVD segment by the end of fiscal 2006
